Kalathu Podi is a podi variety we make to use for postpartum diet. We use this podi to spice the poriyal varieties. Also for rasam, instead of using regular rasam powder, we use this kalathu podi. A healthy postpartum diet can help new moms heal and boost their energy levels during those sleep-deprived days. Whatever the new moms intake will have a direct effect on the baby so we need to be more careful in what we serve the mom or what we intake as a new mom. Instead of making realgar food with spices this kalathu podi is prepared and store in air-tight container. This kalathu podi is used as a spice mix.
